I had heard the sound of a flute all the way; I didn’t understand anything until we got to this point; after walking for two hours and listening to our guide Lorena talk about the importance of the high Andean forest; enjoying the fauna and flora of the chorrera; perhaps the most difficult hike I have ever done in my life; after having done the walking tour and food tour at the height of Bogotá I thought I was prepared; but well, in the end we were already at this point, in front of the highest waterfall in Colombia; we coincided with an ancestral ritual; the corn, the rice, were wet with the water of the waterfall as it fell, while the sound of nature was mixed with the flute music of that native person who helped us all to discharge and cleanse our energies.
