- Start time and Duration: depends of the day activitie but some days we start at 7 am and finish 7 pm and others we will start around 8 am and finish 9pm
- Tours are either in Spanish or English, or both, depending on the group
- Remember in bogota we are in an altitude of 2625 meters above sea level so be prepare and if you have any condition that can be afected by the altitude is better dont to take the tours
- some tours are walking and others we take a van and when we get to the place we will walk

Start At: The Cranky Croc Hostel, Cl. 12d #346, Bogotá, Colombia

Day #1 : The first day we will have a great breakfast and then:
Walking Tour True Colombian Experience in Bogota
Take on the historic and culture-rich La Candelaria neighborhood on foot. Discover the vibrant streets filled with Spanish Colonial style homes and visit the main square of Bogotá. You will sample Colombian fruits and sip a locally-loved fermented drink, chicha. You will try your hand at playing Tejo.
The Bogotá Food Experience
In this experience you will discover the unique flavors of the different Colombian regions. We will walk to 7 different food places within the historic La Candelaria neighborhood and sample a variety of traditional foods. We will visit multiple family-owned businesses to try authentic dishes and interact with locals. In a single afternoon, you will be able to learn more about the Colombian culture through its food and history.
- Duration: 3 to 4 hours
- In this day the lunch will be cover by the 7 stops samples of the food tour
- then we will have dinner (normally at the cranky croc hostel)
Day #2: The second day we will go out of bogota around 1 hour and 40 minutes away by van (we will have breakfast and lunch in the farm or some times in the town where is the farm) and we will have dinner after the tour of the day at the city of bogota (normally at the cranky croc hostel).
Be a farmer for a day – Coffee Farm Experience
Delve into the world of coffee and learn how the life-giving elixir is made on an organic coffee farm in Colombia. We will set out from the city center for the town of Choachi, just outside of Bogota. We will learn about the daily life of a coffee farmer as well as the coffee manufacturing process. (depends of the availability we go to other coffee farm)
Day #3: This day we will get more inside to bogota and the breakfast and lunch will be in the tour in two different stops (restaurants) and then then we will close the day with a great salsa class and the dinner include (normally at the cranky croc hostel)
Experience Bogotá Visiting: Monserrate, City tour, Food and Museo Oro or Botero
Get acquainted with Bogota’s vibrant history, culture, and cuisine on this group walking tour. Day #4: In this day we will eat breakfast and lunch at the towns that we will visit and at the end of the day we will have dinner (normally at the cranky croc hostel)
Salt Cathedral and Guatavita Lake; Visiting the Towns with breackfast and lunch
Combine a visit to the beautiful town of Guatavita and its lake with a tour of the famous Salt Cathedral of Zipaquaria with this guided tour from Bogota. Everything’s included, from round-trip transportation and admission tickets.

Day #5: this day we will have the breakfast at the park that we will visit and the lunch too after the hike. the dinner will be at night after the tour (normally at the hostel the cranky croc )
Hike to the highest Colombian waterfall! La Chorrera and Chiflon
Venture away from the bustling city of Bogotá and spend a day immersed in nature on this challenging full-day waterfall hike. Join the group and head towards the jungle. Upon reaching the park, begin the breathtaking ascent to Colombia’s highest waterfall (depends of the season we maybe dont find water on the chorrera; but the tour still worth it, because the hike and the great nature vew)
Day #6: This day we will have the breakfast before to start the expereince ( normally at the cranky croc hostel) and then we will go to our fisrt experience of the day; how to make a traditional Colombian bag. then we will have lunch in the historical centre and after that we will have our second experiece of the day; where we will learn a lot of the colombian chocolate. then we will have dinner (normally at the cranky croc hostel; depends if after the chocolate experience you still hungry)
Let’s learn Colombian ancestral wisdom with the traditional bag workshop
Mochilas are a traditional type of bag woven from wool by members of Indigenous communities from northern Colombia, and are popular across the country. With this workshop, you’ll not only learn about mochilas and how they are made, but you’ll also get to design one yourself with the help of an experienced artisan
Colombian Chocolate Workshop Experience
Embark on a sensory tour through the different flavors of chocolate in Colombia! We will sample chocolates from 5 different regions with differing percentages of cocoa. We will learn all about the chocolate production process, as well as the different tropical fruits that the Colombian cocoa is paired with. Each person will choose their favorite cocoas that they sampled and then we will learn how to make our own chocolate truffle creations out of them! Afterwards everyone will get to take home their own handmade chocolates in a small gift box.
Day #7: Our last day in bogota where we already will feel like one local more; we will have breakfast (in a restaurant aroud the city centre) and after that with the guide you will go to a place for to buy souveniers ( or have free time if you wanna go to a different place by your own, a place close to the cranky croc so you dont miss your next experience) the cooking class (the dishes that are several colombian appetizers will cover the lunch of the day) and then you will have a hour for to rest and start our last experience the Bogota beer tour. you will have also dinner after the beer tour (normally at the cranky croc) and we will finsh our great journy together.
