In this experience you will discover the unique flavors of the different Colombian regions. We will walk to 7 different food places within the historic La Candelaria neighborhood and sample a variety of traditional foods. We will visit multiple family-owned businesses to try authentic dishes and interact with locals. In a single afternoon, you will be able to learn more about the Colombian culture through its food and history. This tour is accomodating for both vegetarian and vegan preferences, please just let your guide know at the beginning of the tour. We will eat plenty of samples over the course of the tour so please make sure you come hungry! **We are constantly changing the venues we visit to accomodate whatever is going on in the city, so the photos and attractions listed may not be the same as the day you do the tour.

**Please make sure to go inside the hostel to the reception desk and inform the receptionist that you are here for this tour.**
We will wait 15 minutes from the starting time for everyone to arrive. If you are going to be late, please contact us by WhatsApp before the start of the tour.
Please give yourself enough time when leaving your hotel/accomodation as traffic in Bogotá can be very dense, and sometimes it´s difficult to order via a ride-share service (Uber, Cabify, etc.)

Stop: La PUERTA de la CATEDRAL, Cl. 11 #6-26, La Candelaria, Bogotá

We will try the traditional dish from Bogotá, Ajiaco, in one of the most beautiful and representative restaurants of the historical centre of La Candelaria.
Duration: 40 minutes

Stop: Carbón de Leña, Carrera 52 Sur # 40-44, Puente Aranda, Bogotá

Here we will try one of the most interesting foods from the region Orinoquia de Colombia
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop: Cafe Del Chorro, Cra. 2 #12B-35 SOTANO 1, Bogotá, Colombia

We will visit this super cozy restaurant to try traditional patacones with the secret hogao from the chef
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop: Restaurante Fulanitos Candelaria, Cl. 12 #1-60, Bogotá, Colombia

In this special stop we will try cuisine from the Valle del Cauca region and, more specifically, the Caleño aborrajado
Duration: 30 minutes

We will end our tour at the original starting point
